Find me on:

Businesses now have more choice than ever when it comes to choosing a provider for their business phone lines. Many are still put off from changing their current supplier as they worry about the process involved and downtime whilst lines are switched over.

Sean Le Tissier, founder of GPS Telecoms, explains how changing your business phone lines can be hassle free…

Search The Market

Too many businesses stick with the same provider year after year without realising they could save hundreds of pounds by switching. We find that many don’t know the connection fee or call charges they’re currently paying. They could save hundreds of pounds by looking at what other providers can offer. If you find a deal you like the look of, switching really is simple.

Downtime

One of the biggest worries businesses have about switching their lines, is the service downtime. These days, there’s no reason for there to be any downtime whatsoever, but always check this with your new provider. Time is money and it’s vital you don’t miss out on any business calls.

Phone Number

Another concern many businesses have, is that they may have to change their phone number, again adding to the worry that they’ll miss out on that all important business call. Again, check with your new provider, but in most cases, there’s no reason you can’t keep your existing number.

The Contract

Your provider is likely to have a number of packages to choose from and should be able to advise you on the best one for your needs. Before you enter into any contract with a new phone provider, make sure you read the small print very carefully. Be sure you’re happy with the length of the contract, and are comfortable with any penalties for ending the contract early.
